Questions, answered.

The answers below come from our published terms, so what you read here is what applies.

Still have a question? Email sales@ohmicoffee.co.za and we will come back to you.
How do I order and pay?
Pick your coffee in the shop and enter your delivery address. You see the courier price and your total before you commit. Pay by card, or by EFT quoting the reference we give you. Your order is confirmed when we match your deposit, and we may cancel an order that has no matching deposit after seventy-two hours. Terms of Use and Sale.
How long does delivery take?
We roast your beans to order, and freshly roasted coffee needs about five days to degas before it is at its best, so it is never sent out the moment it leaves the roaster. That is why delivery takes a little longer. If you need your coffee by a certain date, order in advance. We deliver door to door by Courier IT anywhere in South Africa. Allow up to twelve business days from the date we confirm your payment. When the courier collects your order you get a tracking number and a page to follow it. Delivery is priced from your address and shown before you commit. Delivery, Cancellation and Returns.
Where is your coffee roasted?
Our offices are in Strand, in the Western Cape. We roast in the Durbanville Winelands, on the Durbanville wine route.
Is the coffee fresh?
Yes. Your beans are roasted to order, in micro batches, then rested for about five days to degas so they taste their best, and packed fresh for you.
Why is 250g your biggest bag?
To keep your coffee fresh. Once a bag is opened, the beans start to lose their flavour, so there is no point opening a big bag only for it to go stale before you finish it. A 250g bag is used up while it still tastes its best.
Do you supply businesses?
Yes. Business orders are roasted on demand. Email sales@ohmicoffee.co.za with what your business needs and we will tell you what is possible.
Is it whole bean or ground?
The 250 g bag is whole bean and the 100 g bag is ground. Drip bags are ready to brew: hang one over your cup and pour hot water through.
What are drip bags?
Single-serve bags: hang one over your cup and pour hot water through. Drip bags are sold as a box of ten, and a box is one product that cannot be split.
Can I cancel or send it back?
Bought online, you may cancel within seven days of delivery under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, although opened coffee cannot be returned under that right. If your coffee arrives stale, damaged or not what you ordered, email sales@ohmicoffee.co.za within seven days with your order number and we will replace it or refund it. Delivery, Cancellation and Returns.
Do you charge VAT?
No. We are not registered for VAT, so the price you see is the full amount you pay for the coffee. Delivery is shown separately before you commit.
